this band from the southern german province friedrichshafen
existed from 1982-86, played classic SEX PISTOLS
inspired but still unique punkrock and released only
two (but great!) cassettes during their existence. now, for
this long overdue double album, every single one of the 30
songs has been painstakingly and lovingly remastered and
the packaging is also deluxe: it consists of a gatefold
sleeve and a 16-page 4-color booklet. the vinyl is randomly

this is a special edition, limited to 300 hand-numbered
copies, of the only studio LP by this lucerne band, which
was named after the first letters of the three musicians
NÖGGU, DANIEL, TREMP. later this abbreviation was
also interpreted as NICHTS DESTRO TROTZ (nevertheless).
the mastering was done by the LONDON BOMB FACTORY
and sounds slightly more dynamic. the cover has a blue
background, the booklet is minimally different and last
but not least, the album comes with an original copy of
the LIEBI LIEBI single (1984) with a handmade color-

signed to CHERRY RED and released the REASON WHY LP
instead. although most of the tracks are unreleased, some
were retitled and re-recorded for the LAST TANGO

more infamous than a lot of other bands and were regarded as
"unsignable". despite this, they had a dedicated following
and still managed to get promotional spots on television and
at one time a "cheap night out" with the band competition with
a magazine. their manager was eventually able to form a label
to release two 7"s, but despite good sales, they attracted
negative publicity and even the UK punk scene trashed them.
the band later morphed into CUDDLY TOYS in 1980. this collection
compiles all their studio recordings 77-78, including both sought
after 7”s. also included are the PHILES AND SMILES DEMO SESSIONS.

this northern-irish power-pop three-piece-combo formed in 1979
and dissolved in 1982. three singles and one album with
recordings from that period are available. the band reformed

pop-tune. limited to 200 copies on black vinyl (this one)
& 100 copies red splattered vinyl.

in late 1978, after EATER's original guitarist BRIAN HADDON
left the band, ANDY BLADE and producer DAVE GOODMAN went
back into the studio so that ANDY could complete the 'missing'
guitar overdubs that should have been included on THE ALBUM.
the master tape (scheduled to replace the original with the
next pressing) never got to see light of day as the band split
soon afterwards and the punk scene imploded upon itself. the tape
lay in GOODMAN's attic for 40 + years, to resurface in 2020.
contents were transferred to digital, remixed and remastered.
